On the 3^rd of November, within the framework of the project "NOBALwheat - a set of wheat breeding tools for a sustainable food system in the Nordic and Baltic region" researcher and doctoral student from AREI Crop Science Department Zaiga Jansone participated in the local annual scientific seminar "Harvest Festival in Vecauce". Peace nourishes, war destroys".

The seminar brings together Latvian agricultural scientists, practitioners and students. During the seminar Zaiga presented the first results of the NOBALwheat project with a publication and a poster presentation "Evaluation of RGB image-based vegetation indices for spring wheat”.
