In 11.11. 2016. Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics researchers Arta Kronberga and Vija Strazdiņa presented trial results of project NFI/R/2014/11 ‘Innovative approach to hull-less spring cereals and triticale use from human health perspective’ in scientific seminar ‘Challenges in cereal production’.
The Seminar was organized in Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research Centre (NIBIO) Apelsvoll which is one of the project collaboration partners. During workshop participants discussed about common and diverse in Norwegian and Latvian agriculture, climate changes and future challenges. Participators of project presented results of barley and triticale trials, grain yield and quality and conferred about potentialities to cooperate in new scientific projects in future.
