The plants are medium tall.

The grain contains hull.

Economic characteristics:

Early.

At the initial phases of vegetation develops rapidly and suppresses weeds well.

Quality:

High 1,000 grain weight, low grain density.

Medium content of protein and starch in grain.

Susceptibility to diseases:

The variety may be infected with mildew, is susceptible to net blotch, infection with loose smut is very uncommon.

Use:

The grain can be used for animal feed and food.

Cultivation:

Suitable for integrated cultivation under conventional farming system. Can be cultivated under the conditions of biological farming systems.

Recommended sowing rate: 350-400 germinating seeds per m2.

Responsive to high doses of fertiliser.

Good cover crop for perennial grasses, trellis plant for early peas.
