Morphological description:

The average stem length is 95 cm, the plant is upright

Two-row ear, with mildly narrowed top, 8-12 cm

The grains are elongated, coarse, uniform, yellow

Economic characteristics:

A variety of medium intensive type, medium late, vegetation period from full sprouts to wax ripeness – 90 days. Lodging resistance is medium (5-8 points), high resistance to germination in ears, productive tillering coefficient 1.6-3.0.

Crop potential 5.0-6.5 t ha–1.

Quality:

1,000 grain weight 45-53 g, density 670-690 g L-1.

Total protein content in grains 10.3-13.5 %, extractability 78-81.5 %.

Susceptibility to diseases:

The variety is resistant to loose smut and medium resistance against septoria, rinhosporiosis.

Use:

The grain can be used for animal feed

Cultivation:

Ecologically plastic variety, grows well in different types of soil. Sowing rate 400 germinating seeds per m2. Optimum nitrogen dose in pure substance 70-90 kg ha-1.

Recommended for cultivation either in conventional or biological cultivation systems.
