Morphological description:

 

A two-row ear, average ear length - 6 cm, medium dense (variety nutans).  The average stem length is 78 cm. High tillering capacity - 3 to 4 productive stems.

Economic characteristics:

Medium-late variety - vegetation period averages from 85 to 90 days. High lodging resistance. A variety of medium intensity with the potential of productivity up to 6.5 t ha–1.

Quality:

Very coarse grain, 1,000 grain weight (on average 52 g) and

High density (670-710 g L-1)

Total protein content is on average 11.6 - 13.5 %.

Susceptibility to diseases:

In field conditions, medium resistance to net blotch and mildew, high resistance to loose smut.

Use:

Feed and food processing.

Cultivation:

The variety is suitable for cultivation in good and medium cultivated soils, sowing rate 400 germinating seeds per m2. Optimum dose of nitrogen fertiliser in well cultivated soils – 70-90 kg ha-1. Suitable for cultivation under conventional and biological farming conditions.
