Morphological description:

After harvesting, the grain is bare, without hull, medium coarse, the plant is 110 - 120 cm tall.

Economic characteristics:

medium late variety (duration of growth period 105-110 days)
the stem is firm, good lodging resistance

Quality:

protein content in the dry matter of the grain (15 - 18%)

high content of fats in the dry matter of the grain (8.1 - 11.7%)

beta-glucan in the dry matter of the grain (3.6 – 4.6 %)
1,000 grain weigh 28 - 32 g
hull content in the crop 0.5-3%
density is high (620-670 g l-1)

Susceptibility to diseases:

high resistance to loose smut of oats

Use:

for the obtaining of food grade grain (dietetic high quality whole grain product production), as well as feed grade grain

Cultivation:

optimum sowing rate is approximately 450 - 500 germinating seeds per 1 m2; optimum dose of nitrogen fertiliser in well cultivated soils 80-100 kg ha-1;

Harvesting is very important for food grade grain, avoid damage to grain caused by autumn rains.
