Two seminars-field days was held October 20 in Vecauce/Vitini (Lielupe river basin) and October 24 in Dizstende (Venta river basin) to initiate close cooperation between environmental and agricultural experts, farmers, their organisations and authorities responsible for water resources management. During the both events, various types of catch crops were compared on field conditions.  Samples of wastewater to fix agricultural pollution were taken.
